Prescription Drugs: When online requests are made for prescription drugs, an approval must be made by one of our staff veterinarians. For active clients, approval or denial will occur on the next business day. For all non-clients, a formal prescription form must be faxed from a veterinarian’s office so we may maintain our files accordingly. For any heartworm medications, records of a negative adult antigen heartworm test within the last calendar year must be faxed from your veterinarian’s office. Please understand that there will be certain cases where Rx requests are denied and this typically implies there are doctor-client -patient inadequacies, medical liability issues, or questions regarding suitability of use, etc.. |
